iHance announces the settlement of its patent dispute
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Aug 27, 2012
iHance Inc. entered into a settlement agreement with Eloqua Inc. regarding iHance's patent family related to the method and system for monitoring email and website behavior of an email recipient (including US Patent Nos. 7,072,947 and 7,076,533) (the "Patents").
The parties reached the agreement on their dispute over the use of the Patents on July 9, 2012 and the lawsuit was dismissed on July 12, 2012. Under the terms of the settlement, Eloqua agreed to pay iHance $3,500,000 to settle the dispute. The specific terms of the agreement are confidential.
